Overview
The rake-type vacuum dryer utilizes the characteristic of reduced boiling point for moisture or solvents in materials under vacuum conditions to achieve drying. This equipment employs indirect heating via a steam jacket, where moisture evaporates upon heating and is promptly extracted. Inside the dryer shell, rake teeth are driven by a transmission shaft. The rake tooth ends are designed at a specific angle to the shaft axis. The main shaft rotates in both forward and reverse directions, moving the material axially to facilitate drying and discharge. Two or four impact bars can be added inside the shell to accelerate material drying and pulverization. The impact rods are hollow, thick-walled stainless steel tubes matching the shell length. They move freely within the shell, continuously striking the material to pulverize it, accelerating the drying process and improving the quality of the finished product. Heating media options include steam, thermal oil, or hot water.
