The asset acquisition agreement between Atlas Copco and Shandong Bozhong Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd. and the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Atlas Copco and the Zibo Municipal Government were held successfully.

Bozhong Vacuum has officially become part of the Atlas Copco Group, embarking on a brand-new journey. The Bozhong brand will join Atlas Copco’s portfolio of brands, establishing a strong foothold in the domestic market while reaching out to the global marketplace, thus achieving new glory and realizing new dreams.

On the afternoon of August 5, the signing ceremony for the asset acquisition agreement between Atlas Copco and Shandong Bozhong Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd., as well as the strategic cooperation agreement between Atlas Copco and the Zibo Economic Development Zone, was successfully held at the Qisheng International Hotel in Zibo. The ceremony was attended by Ma Xiaolei, Deputy Secretary of the Zibo Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Yuan Liang, Member of the Zibo Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General; Li Junjie, Vice Mayor of Zibo; Zong Zhijian, Secretary-General of the Zibo Municipal Government; Koen Lauwers, President of the Industrial Vacuum Division within Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Business Area (joining remotely); Francis Liekens, Vice President of Atlas Copco (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (joining remotely); Bram Claes, Vice President of Operations for the Industrial Vacuum Division within Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Business Area (joining remotely); and Yang Yi, General Manager of the Vacuum Business at Atlas Copco (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd.

The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement represents a significant step for Atlas Copco’s vacuum business in the Chinese market. According to the agreement, Atlas Copco will engage in in-depth collaboration with Shandong Bozhong Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd., a local vacuum equipment manufacturer in Zibo, and further expand its production capacity to better meet market demand. Looking ahead, Atlas Copco will continue to deepen its cooperation with the Zibo Municipal Government by establishing an Atlas Copco industrial park in the Zibo Economic Development Zone. Based on mutual trust and win-win cooperation, the two parties will join forces to make ongoing contributions to the industrial development of Zibo and Shandong Province.
